US // UK
This is a difficult one for me. I prefer the US style (and it's hardcover!), but the UK layout is really nice, and kind of needs to be seen to be appreciated. If you want to see pictures of the fold-out UK cover, click here and here.
I own both, and I still can't reach a decision! Which would you choose? Do you like what they've done with the UK cover?

I'm really in love with the UK version.
Oh WOW! The UK edition is cool, it looks like your typical YA novel. But there is something about the simple yet powerful cover of the US edition that I think fits the book better.

I really like our UK version. Do you know what the UK Catching Fire cover is like or when it is released?
No I have no idea on either! We got THG three months after the US, so it might be a similar time frame to that.
I really like the simplicity of the US one, but I DO love the UK cover. It's hard to pick. I'd say that the way The Hunger Games is written on the UK one is my favorite.

Hmm. A difficult decision, but I think I prefer the US version. Not that I have something against the UK version: I think it's lovely that they have the girl's head actually fully in the picture (can you imagine if the cover had done one of those stereotypical YA-cover eyes-chopped-off thing? Ick!). But I agree with Taylor that I like the simplicity of the US cover.
I couldn't decide between these two either but in the end I've got to go with the UK version. I love the style the figures have been drawn in - I think it really suits the book
i love the uk version but i own the us version i want both but dont know how to get the uk version they both suit the book perfectly and i dont really care what the cover looks like because either way i am in love with this bppk and the main boy character PEETA
Hard call! I almost think I like the UK one better because it gives a better idea what the story is about. It just looks...tough :)
Tough call, but I'm leaning toward the US cover even though the UK cover offers more info.
I love your pick for cover of the week!
I think the UK version is rather messy... while the US version is nice and neat. I liked the UK cover but after seeing them both together, the UK one doesn't appeal to me.
